I was in charge of making the DVD that had my Spring class’s movies on it. I started work on it in June and it’s August, and I just bothered to dig it out of the bottom of the pile of stuff on my desk.
I gave up just used Toast to finish it. I actually have a DVD Studio Pro version of it half-finished, but that’s exactly it: it’s half-finished. If you want something done quickly, use Toast. If you want it to look cool, cancel all your social events for the next two weeks.
Mental note: Stop volunteering for DVD authoring jobs if you don’t actually find them fun to do.

Watching Roman Holiday at Union Square.

[EDIT: It's in the wrong aspect ratio. (But can't I just enjoy a movie without thinking about this sort of thing?)]

By popular demand (and I mean because Colin asked where it was), the 2005 National Film Challenge entry “The Manuscript” is back online. Go watch what happens when you only have 2 hours to write the script:

Here’s what’s on the site so far:
An about page. Which doesn’t really have anything on it.
Four short movies and a demo reel, detailing either movies I’ve made or am about to make.
Photos (the best-ofs are on Flickr, the latest is on my MobileMe gallery.)
Explore and enjoy.

Hi everyone. I tried to do an automated update of WordPress to version 2.6 and it didn’t work. So I tried to do a manual update including a backup and, well, it didn’t restore at all. So, um, yeah, the old blog’s gone.
On the upside, now would be a good time to test a new backup routine. Check back in a couple days when I’ve more or less recreated the site.
